She wanted me to sit facing my Dad. Then she combed. Then she combed. Then she combed. My dad just sat there looking at me. Then she made funny circles with her hand and I figured I'm supposed to get up and turn around and sit down. That seems kind of pointless to me. Get up turn around sit down, when I was already sitting down. But at any rate, now I have my rear to my dad. Then she combed me again on the other side. I didn't say anything like this was starting to bother me, this combing. It wasn't, really. I'm a good-natured dog and she's a good-natured owner (most of the time). I heard her and my Dad say something about <em>swimming</em>. Then I heard her say something about <em>piles of hair</em>. Then I heard her say something about <em>that's enough for tonight</em>. Lena, Coconut oil would smell good but it would get all gooey over my coat. Not sure how that would work. That might mean another shower. Eggs. I always hover around my mom when she’s making eggs. I don’t know why sometimes she gives me some and sometimes she doesn’t. It has something to do with blood in the egg. And if she finds any blood in the egg after she’s cracked it, then I get lucky and get the egg.

Some thoughts on dog's fur - adding flax seed, olive oil, biotin and/or eggs to their diet helps their coat. Perhaps it might help Joey's outer coat grow back? Maybe check and see if there is something you can massage on that area too, like coconut oil or something that is supposed to help promote hair growth. It adds character!
